Outlook Calendar Sync
A “Sync to Outlook” button that turns an issue into a Microsoft 365 calendar event through Microsoft Graph.
Overview
Brings Redmine schedules into Outlook: an issue’s start and due dates become a calendar event for the assignee, including a Teams meeting link and a priority-based reminder.
The Graph integration and event mapping are in place; the full sync and un-sync flow is still being completed.
Key features
- Sync / Un-sync button on the issue page, controlled by a permission.
- Azure AD OAuth2 authentication to Microsoft Graph.
- Creates, updates and deletes calendar events from issue dates, with the assignee as attendee.
- Adds a Teams online meeting and a reminder time configured per priority.
- Stores the link between each issue and its Outlook event.
