A punch clock for field workers: start, pause, lunch and stop a timer on an issue, with location tracking and supervisor SMS alerts.
Overview
Replaces manual time entry for mobile teams. Time is recorded as work happens, and supervisors can see where active workers are.
Key features
- Punch in on an issue to start a running time entry; stopping calculates hours minus pauses and lunch.
- Lunch and pause tracking with a minimum lunch length, one running timer per user and a maximum shift length.
- Browser geolocation recorded during the shift, with addresses looked up and cached.
- Live map of active workers and a per-user route map filtered by date or issue.
- SMS alerts to supervisors when the workers they follow start, pause, resume or stop.
- Location, start/end time and lunch columns in the time entry list.
